		<description>I'm confused. Why did Domenici vote against this? 

Here's what it says on his website:
"Senator Domenici believes that we must insure that this program remains solvent for this and future generations. He has been an avid supporter of the Social Security "Lock Box" which will protect 100% of the Social Security surplus from other spending. He has also supported proposals that would allow younger workers to voluntarily contribute a portion of their payroll government taxes to individual accounts under their control.</description>
