Nebraska SOS faces usual suspects

The teachers’ unions and AARP are at it again, fighting for bigger government in Nebraska.

Grassroots leaders in Nebraska have gathered many more signatures than they need to place a constitutional amendment restricting state spending on the ballot in November.

One of the local organizers leading the charge is Mike Groene, whose website is www.SOSNebraska.com

The opposition has recycled their same tired, old rhetoric claiming that the state needs more money. I have yet to find a state where the unions say the schools and social services are sufficiently funded. The question remains, “How much money is enough?”
