		<description>What is freedom
Arm Services network and Red Sox 11-18-07

I first learned of the Red Sox from listening to other Marines while serving my 31 months overseas tour during the Vietnam Conflict. At night sitting on the side of the runway waiting for planes to return from missions we would listen to Arm Services radio base ball games. I was from New England so other Marines would call me a Red Sox fan. While in Okinawa I saw on Arm Services TV base ball live. Seeing it gave me a better understanding of what other Marines tried to describe. You see I had a Traumatic Brain Injury and remember nothing prior to the accident. To this day I remember not one thing before the accident. An Administration error allowed me to be transferred and stay on active duty. It was really cool to watch the night sky light up on the horizon from the bomb exploding and listening to the game.
I had no idea what the United States was like other than what others told me. It did not matter if the Red Sox’s won or lost they were my connection to NE. NH was a little spot according to others that was in NE. I was injured twice more during separate offensives. I broke my back during one and lost most of my hearing being blown of a runway during another. I came back to Red Sox nation 100% disabled. I have relived my first kill every day silently to my self since I returned in 1974. I was American Advisor on eight convoys across Thailand, Laos and Cambodia delivering friendly camps surplus supplies. On one convoy we stopped at a friendly village deep in the jungle for the night. I was taken by three enemy soldiers. When two went to sleep at the camp fire. I freed myself and stuck a bayonet in the one standing guard. I do not feel guilty for my actions as a U.S. Marine but I have watched this kid die every day since I came back.
I have volunteered every day since 74 helping others as a way to give back respect to those that over the many wars and conflicts never came back. NH to stop me from volunteer helping a Madbury NH family with a zoning issue declared me a terrorist under the Patriot Act. I lost my freedom for 6 months before the bogus charges were dropped. The NH state police, Dover and Lee NH police, elected officials and judges have violated the Constitution to stop me from helping this family. Now the director of the NH Veterans medical care has stopped my VA medical. I have violated no laws. I volunteer to help others. I am 100% disabled from defending your freedom. This is not about me. This is about our children in the military giving their lives for freedom and NH can do this to a Veteran and no one will speak up. The news media believes the facts are to fantastic to happen in the U.S. so they censor the story. I receive many degrading comments because of my letters but I still keep writing them. If freedom is to exist in the U.S. we the people must be allowed to expose criminal actions of judges and government officials with out these criminals illegally using the news and the law to harm those willing to speak freely. I thank the Red Sox Nation and Globe Blogs for publishing my letters. The Red Sox are a Nation that if freedom is to exist must speak up.
