Support Tennessee’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights
June 9th, 2007 by Brendan SteinhauserFreedomWorks is supporting a Taxpayer Bill of Rights for Tennessee. This tax and spend limitation would bring fiscal sanity back to the Volunteer state. Unfortunately, Gov. Bredesen opposes this measure. But FreedomWorks members will be supporting those who are taking a bold stand in support of TABOR.

Tennessee State Senator Jim Bryson and Rep. Glen Casada are leading the way. The TABOR would allow citizens to vote on any tax increases. And it would restrict spending to a rate based on population growth plus inflation. Here is a good fact sheet on the TABOR.
