“Buy America” Provisions Hurt War Fighters and Taxpayers

Baker Spring at Heritage is calling on Bush to veto any bill with harmful “buy America” provisions that will drive up the already astronomical price of war. Congress should ensure that all war materials are procured through open and fair competition so that taxpayer money can be used most efficiently.
