Today, FreedomWorks Chariman Dick Armey and Vice President for Strategy Kent Lassman joined Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI) at his press conference  in support of the Tax Increase Prevention Act. This bill would make permanant the tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. Without the bill, these tax cuts would expire, placing a $500 billion burden upon taxpayers.

Mr. Armey commented:

“Taxpayers should not be punished by the inability of Washington to live within its means. Failure to make the tax cuts permanent will kick the legs out from under our economy, making life more difficult for millions of Americans.  Washington has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.”
