More evidence for Gore to ignore
August 14th, 2007 by Matt HittleI’m no scientist, but the recent discovery by DC resident John Lockwood is pretty telling when it comes to the history of global warming extremism.
He found news articles from the early 20th century that proclaimed the polar ice caps were melting, and that civilization as we know it was close to an end.
Sound familiar?
“This was one of several such articles I have found at the Library of Congress for the 1920s and 1930s,” says Mr. Lockwood. “I had read of the just-released NASA estimates, that four of the 10 hottest years in the U.S. were actually in the 1930s, with 1934 the hottest of all.”
I wonder if, in 1934, Former Democratic Vice President Thomas R. Marshall held a concert with Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, and Frank Sinatra to combat the Dust Bowl.
