Al Gore comes to Austin, Texas

October 1st, 2007 by Brendan Steinhauser

Former Vice President and Climate Change snake-oil salesman Al Gore is speaking at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas today. A group of student activists led by Liz Young of The Young Conservatives of Texas, and former FreedomWorks intern Jessica Irwin, will be outside to protest against Gore’s misleading message.

They will be armed with the studies by Marlo Lewis of CEI and the CBO study about the economic harm that would be caused by a cap and trade system.

Rumor has it the FreedomWorks panda will also be making an appearance outside the Frank Erwin Center. This should make for an interesting event today.

There is almost as great a consensus on the issue of global warming among scientists as there is on the subject of gravity

Are you kidding me? Whoever this “anonymous” is, they obviously haven’t done their research and take for gospel the party line that the major media oh-so-stridently spews.

  3. Oblogov Says:

Matt, you are an idiot. 99% of scientists WORLDWIDE agree that human activities are contributing to a serious, perhaps catastrophic increase in global tempurature. One wonders why people like you continue to deny this. Could it be that your religion tells you differently, or perhaps you have stock in Exxon-Mobile. In any case you are an idiot.
