S-CHIP, the Bill that Wouldn’t Die

But I doubt that will stop Pelosi and the rest of her comrades from attempting to wring out every last bit of political gain from the bill. No matter what they say, passing the bill isn’t their only priority. This is a beat-up-on-Bush opportunity, and they’re trying to make the most of it.
