To make this a proper tax reform, ALL existing taxes must be eliminated, not just the present income tax. Total tax elimination would remove all these taxes from the price paid for everything by everyone - including government. This would reduce the price of everything by 1/3, eliminate the deficit, and simplify paying off the $9 trillion national debt. After all other taxes are gone, then pass the Flat tax. The whole country will be better off.

Mr. Army I am for the flat tax but I have a very important question. Laborers, business persons and others that donot report their fare share of income, how would you get their fare share. I have seen workers on unemployment, disabilities, working two jobs and claiming one salary. Can you explain how we can zero down to all paying their fare share?
This is ignored and no matter what you try to improve in a fare tax
this main problem is ignored Margaret L Ryan
