Many of us up here in Massachusetts (I know several people in the community, on Boston's South Shore, involved in this unwanted earmark) are astonished that this bipartisan boondoggle happened. Can someone with a better understanding of House Ethics or federal law, or both, than I certainly have tell us all how this is even legal -- A Congressman from one state helps secure an earmark for his family's property located in another state. If this is not illegal, we need to work to make it so.

Thanks for any explanation.
