It’s easy to lose sight of the big picture– our economy is huge and flexible and innovative. The problem is that our public policies increasingly do not support that dynamism…

As most FreedomWorks member have already seen what Dick Armey said in his latest newsletter about American Solutions:

“American Solutions is Newt Gingrich’s organization that is working to develop new solutions to the most important issues facing our country. Last September, I did a workshop with them on the flat tax as part of their nationwide Solutions Day workshops. They’ve developed a solutions-oriented agenda called the Platform of the American People, which is supported by a majority of Democrats, Republicans and independents. Among the planks is 82% of Americans support the idea that ‘the option of a single rate system should give taxpayers the convenience of filing their taxes with just a single sheet of paper.’ I hope you’ll sign their petition and take a look at their solutions, especially the ones related to our economic challenges.”

I just wanted to emphasize what Mr. Armey said, and to strongly encourage every FreedomWorks member to sign the “Platform of the American People.”
